Prepare

Preparation is the key to a successful paint enhancement project. Every automobile cared for by Signature Auto Finishing undergoes a careful and meticulous preparation process. Signature Auto Finishing is unique in that all cars we care for receive the same level of ultimate prep work. Most detailers economize here, only giving extra services to those customers opting for the more elite service.
Correct

With a quality preparation process complete, the next step is to improve the paint itself. During this process, imperfections in the paint are eliminated. The level of improvement depends on the service selected. Signature Auto Finishing offers three levels of paint improvement: Light Polish Detail, Premium Paint Enhancement Service, and Elite Paint Enhancement Service.
Protect

Signature Auto Finishing is a certified installer for Kamikaze USA nano-ceramic coatings. Kamikaze is a boutique brand manufactured to the highest standards in the industry. The product is made in small batches to ensure quality and delivers a level of protection and gloss to meet or exceed any in the industry. These coatings, while not inexpensive, comprise an investment in the appearance, value and preservation of your automobile. There are three levels of Kamikaze coating: Myabi, ISM, and Enrei.
Other Services

We want our clients to enjoy a beautiful automobile long after our paint enhancement service is complete. For those individuals, we offer either in-depth training on proper maintenance techniques, or on a limited basis, ongoing wash services. We also offer a “new car prep” service.
Prepare

During the prepare phase, we cleanse your car’s surface, chemically removing the many miles of road grime, brake dust, exhaust particles and other environmental contaminants. These contaminants, while not visible to the naked eye, bond to your car’s paint and over time dull the finish. This multi-step process goes well beyond a car wash, utilizing industry-specific products you won’t find at the shelves of your local auto parts stores. Once the preparation process is complete, your car’s paint is taken back to the day it came off the factory floor, ready to accept additional polishing and protection.
Correct

While proper preparation is essential to bringing back your car’s shine, it is the correction stage which ultimately restores the finish. If you view your car’s paint in bright sunlight, you’ll likely find the surface is covered with fine, hairline scratches, also called swirls. These imperfections, or swirls, certainly occur from daily use, but also, ironically, when washing your car where in the process of removing dirt, the particles actually scratch your car’s surface. The grooves represented in the swirls grab contaminants, giving them a place to rest and easily adhere to your paint. Once this occurs, light is absorbed before it reaches your paint, reducing reflection and creating a dull appearance. Your car may shine, and most of us have become accustomed to this poor level of gloss, but in reality, you’ve greatly compromised your investment and sacrificed the natural beauty of your automobile.
Protect

Once a car’s surface has been properly prepared and corrected, the final and most important step is protection. Most of us think of waxes as a method of adding shine and protecting paint. In fact, wax has a short life cycle, typically ranging from several weeks to a few months. As it dissipates, your car’s surface is unprotected and environmental contaminants begin to attach to (and attack) the paint.
Modern paint sealants have become much more commonplace and these synthetic polymers are vast improvements over wax. Quality sealants can provide the same level of gloss as a good carnuba wax but will last up to six months, and in some cases, longer. The key is a properly prepared, clean surface to which the sealant can adhere, as well as using high-quality polymers which, once again, you won’t find at a local parts store.
As good as sealants are when compared to waxes, they pale in comparison to the latest evolution in paint protection – nano-ceramic paint coatings. These silicon-dioxide based products are highly specialized and bond to paint at a molecular level. The strength of the bond cannot be overstated as the nano-particles literally seep into the pores of your paint. This creates what amounts to a second, outer layer of clear coat and, depending on the product you choose, can protect your car’s paint for years to come. It offers the side-benefit of creating a slick surface which is harder for dirt and contaminants to adhere to, as well as making the wash process far safer and quicker. Signature Auto Finishing strongly urges the use of nano-ceramic coatings. .
If you don’t walk away from your car in a parking lot and turn around to look, you need Signature Auto Finishing. We will bring back the pride you felt when you drove your car off the lot.
